February round-up

It’s been an excellent month here at Barber Barber, all four shops have been and busy we have had a number of other irons in the fire too. Following on from our appearance at London AW16 in January, February has seen Inky Steve and Joey Power training the next generation of barbers and there is still plenty more to come in March too with Johnny taking place in a great live event.

We’re pleased to announce that Johnny BaBa will be one of the masters at the upcoming Fellowship of British Hairdressing ‘London Masterclass’. Johnny will be showcasing his cutting edge techniques on stage and it is a great opportunity for you to come and see how the best in the business do what they do. The poster for the event is below and as you can see there are some really great names involved. If you want to come along, the poster is below, tickets are available from the Fellowship’s website.

The Fellowship promotes the best of British and International Hairdressing, and they aim to represent the top 10% talent in the industry. Barber Barber are proud members, and we look forward to taking part in more of their events in the future. If you also want to chat to the man himself, Johnny is in our London shop all this weekend.

This month has also seen two of our barber’s out on the road to show the upcoming talent how to do it. Inky Steve took part in a mentoring session at the Alan Howard Academy in Stockport, and Joey Power took part in a mentoring event at the Alan D Academy. Both of our boys shined, and hopefully their pupils walked away with a little bit of knowledge and skill that they couldn’t get anywhere else.

Thanks to everyone who came down to all of our shops this month, you’re all heroes. See you again soon.
